5 things you must do in Copenhagen
Hi! It’s been a while.
Now the weather is getting so much nicer and we’re heading towards summer, here’s our top 5 must do’s in Copenhagen.
Number one: Visit Tivoli Gardens
Of course we put Tivoli Gardens on this list! Not just because it’s an amusement park but because of its history. Tivoli Gardens is the world's second oldest operating amusement park. It opened back in 1843, and has the oldest roller coaster which was built in 1914 and features an operator who manually brakes the roller coaster to this day!

Every year they host Fredagsrock - Fridayrock, which are concerts held in the park. You can experience both national and international artists at Fredagsrock. At the same time you can enjoy a lovely burger from Gasoline Grill.

Number two: Try to Solve A Mystery
Now Solve A Mystery is a perfect whenever type activity. If the weather is bad, you can either try out a local café or solve the mystery any other day! It’s self paced and self guided, so no one will force you to do it faster than you want to.

Every mystery is based on a real murder that happened, so it’s automatically a little more exciting to try and figure out who’s the murderer. We recommend doing it at your own pace, and try out some lovely danish pastries and coffee on the way. Our current favorite mystery is The Murder by Amalienborg Palace.
Price: per person 189 DKK
Number three: Visit Freetown Christiania
Freetown Christiania is a must visit when coming to Copenhagen. Freetown Christiania is a community that’s operating independently. Freetown originated back in the 1970’s and they have their own laws, flags and way of life. There’s around 850-1000 people living in Freetown, so when visiting remember to be mindful about the fact that it’s someone's home, and don’t peep into the windows.

While there you can visit Nemoland, which is a part of Christiania with a lot of different restaurants and a stage where they hold concerts throughout the year.
