Top 5 Activities in Aarhus
Summer is approaching and we would love to give you our top 5 activities in Aarhus!
Number one: Visit Den Gamle By/The Old Town
The Old Town in Aarhus is a must visit always. It will show you how we used to live back in time. You are able to experience how shops used to look, how people dressed, the food they had and how people used to live. It shows what we came from. There’s actors wandering around, acting like they are from their specific time. It’s very interesting.

Tip: after closing you're sometimes able to wander around in The Old Town, so you can see all of the shops and buildings from outside, but without all of the actors walking around.
Price: 145-205 DKK - depends on what time of year you visit.
Number two: Try to Solve a mystery
Solve a mystery is a perfect way to spend some time. Both of the available mystery hunts takes place in central Aarhus, so there’s nothing stopping you from trying it out!

The mysteries are based on real life crimes, so you can try to solve the mystery like a real life detective. We always recommend doing the mysteries at your own pace. You can try out a café in the meantime! We love the mystery Sabotage in Aarhus 1943 which takes you back to the Second World War.
Price: 189 DKK per person.
Number three: Visit Grauballemanden at the Moesgaard Museum
Most Danes know about Grauballemanden. Grauballemanden is one of the world's best-preserved bog bodies from the Iron Age, found in 1952 in Nebelgård Mose near Silkeborg. One of the most exceptional things to experience. At the Moesgaard Museum you can experience how we as people evolved into who we are today.

Price: 180 DKK
Number four: The Infinite Bridge
The Infinite Bridge used to be a temporary artwork installation. It was installed back in 2015 at Ballehage beach. It was a part of the exhibition called Sculptured by the Sea. Out of all of the artwork displayed, The Infinite Bridge was a local favourite. It was so popular that ARoS decided to make it permanent between April and October every year.

Fun fact: Aarhus municipality offers people to be wed at The Infinite Bridge, where you are able to choose what part of the bridge - or in the middle of it, you’d like to be wed at!

Number five: Marselisborg Dyrehave
Marselisborg Dyrehave is a big park filled with deer, fallow deer and wild boar - if you’re lucky, they will walk up to you, so you can pet them. Just remember that you’re not allowed to feed the animals, they live in the park as wild animals. The wild boars have their own fenced area, where you can look at them from a distance.

Take a walk, have a picnic at their designated lunch area, and just enjoy nature.
